To participate in the Home Renovation Savings Program, you must meet the following requirements:
Eligible dwelling types that are included:
- Detached and semi-detached houses
- Row housing/Townhomes
- Mobile homes on a permanent foundation
Technical Criteria
To be eligible, homeowners MUST meet the following criteria:
- Home must Be an Enbridge Gas customer with an active account and primarily heat your home with a natural gas furnace or boiler OR be connected to the Ontario electricity grid and heat your home electrically.
- Primary and non-Primary residences qualify – Owner must be applicant
- Final Audit must be completed within 180 Days of First Audit or by Dec 31, 2025
- Maximum total Rebate:
- Electrically heated homes: $10,000 (Includes $600 Audit Fee Reimbursement)
- Natural Gas heated homes: $5,000 (Includes $600 Audit Fee Reimbursement)* $40K Interest Free Loan can be paired with this offer
The Home Renovation Savings Program offers rebates for a variety of energy-saving upgrades, with flexible options to choose bundled or individual improvements.

STEP 2: Eligible Upgrades

Book your Pre Retrofit Energy Audit
Let us evaluate your home and create a renovation upgrade report based on your potential upgrades.
Our Registered Energy Advisor will assess how your home uses energy and advise you which upgrades will help you reduce your energy bill. This step is conducted before any upgrades are started.
STEP 2
Complete your Retrofit to be Eligible
To qualify for Home Renovation Savings Program, you must complete at least 2 of the following upgrades:

Foundation headers are not eligible to count as a qualified measure but can qualify for a rebate when done in combination with crawl space wall or basement wall insulation

Air Sealing
Perform professional air sealing to improve the air-tightness of your home

Note: Home must be older than 1994 and receipts are required for air sealing if a water heater heat pump is being claimed as second measure. Air sealing is not guaranteed. Receipts for air sealing is mandatory.

Water Heater Heat Pump

STEP 3
Book your Post Retrofit Home Energy audit
Our Registered Energy Advisor will return to your home to evaluate the retrofits you completed. They will provide you with an updated EnerGuide rating. We will provide you with an EnerGuide rating (see below) that will display how energy efficient your home is and submit your improvements on your behalf to Enbridge:
STEP 4
Receive your rebate cheque from Enbridge
Enbridge will send you a rebate cheque based on the upgrades you completed; in addition, you will enjoy further savings on each utility bill year after year.
The final rebate cheque will include a $600 reimbursement to offset the cost of both the initial and final energy audit.

Individual Improvements – (Do one or more upgrades) Rebates that do not require a home energy assessment
